Although I have been a Telecom Engineer in my Professional carrier, but my serious hobby had been in Photography since my childhood. This has led me to take this hobby as my second nature.I studied Photography at American University in Cairo during my BSc degree from 1981 to 1986, and has been always associated with Nikon Cameras since 1982 when I acquired my Nikon F3P+ Camera. I got a Professional Photography Diploma from New York Institute of Photography. I have been one of the founders of Omani Photography club in 1986, after that in 90s it became part of Omani Fine art society.I am passionate about Photography. I love Landscape, nature and wildlife photography as well as travel photography, and I have been conducting workshops in Oman and in the region in Basic photography and in Street Travel PhotographyI was awarded the fourth place in ALTHANI Photography Completion in 2004, and had worked for Miss World as official Photographer in Portugal for the years 2003, and 2004.I had been giving lectures locally and in Gulf region whenever I was invited by photo clubs and photo societies through my expanded network with fellow photographers.

My main gear has been Nikon most of the times, while I have always been shooting with Canon, Olympus, and Fujifilm cameras. Nowadays I mainly  shoot with Hasselblad Medium Format for my Fine art works, and with Fujifilm Medium Format.
